Hill Physicians Medical Group Announces $17.1 Million in Performance Rewards and Record Revenues
Annual Report Also Details Records for Net Income, Membership, and Number of Providers
San Ramon, CA (June 13, 2005)— Hill Physicians Medical Group announced record revenues of $326 million, up 12% from 2003, along with record performance bonuses paid to its physicians that totaled $17.1 million in 2004. This was the fifth consecutive year in which the medical group increased its bonus awards. Hill Physicians also scored in the top ten percent under the statewide IHA Pay for Performance Initiative and earned $5.7 million under the program, the largest award earned by any medical group in California. Hill Physicians, serving Northern California, ranks among the largest medical groups in the country.

The 2005 Annual Report also documents a number of other achievements:

Net income of $6.05 million, or 1.8% of revenue.

Record membership total of 395,000 patients, an increase of 22%, including assimilation of 70,000 new members from the former San Joaquin County Delta IPA.
