A Few Things You Should Know:
- Most former PIMG members have been able to stay with their primary care physician.
- Your primary care physician now has access to a larger group of specialists for referrals. If you have an open authorization from PIMG, Hill Physicians will honor it until October 1, 2010. Your primary care doctor will then request a new authorization, if needed, from Hill Physicians.

Medi-Cal members can continue to use St. Luke's Health Care Center and St. Luke's Hospital.
- HMO members now have access to a broader selection of hospitals, including Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, Seton Medical Center, St. Mary’s Medical Center, UCSF Children’s Hospital, UCSF Medical Center, UCSF Medical Center at Mt. Zion, and St. Luke's Hospital.

What Are the Advantages of Being a Member of Hill Physicians?

- In-network commercial HMO referrals to doctors at UCSF, St. Mary’s Medical Center, Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and Seton Medical Center if you and your doctor decide those resources are necessary (For HMO members in San Francisco and San Mateo counties only).

You continue to see your PIMG physician as usual. More than 120 of PIMG's doctors are now with Hill Physicians Medical Group. Your health plan should already have sent you an updated membership card.
If you are have an existing authorization from PIMG, it will be honored until October 1, 2010. Your primary care doctor will then request an updated authorization from Hill Physicians.
