More Than Ever: Strength in Numbers
2010 was an impressive year for Hill Physicians Medical Group. Our nationally watched Accountable Care Organization (ACO) showed strong results. Membership grew and our affiliated providers enjoyed exceptional support and additional performance compensation based on quality. The Hill Physicians that you see today, as well as what’s behind the scenes, are helping to improve the value proposition for healthcare stakeholders, patients, providers, and payers. We’re all in this together and excited about the future.
Highlights of 2010 Include:
- $5.4 million in net income on $455 million in revenue;
- Over $37 million paid in performance compensation to our doctors for improving efficiency and medical care;
- Our unique initiative with Blue Shield and CHW designed to reduce medical costs for CalPERS enrollees far exceeded expectations, saving over $15.5 million; and,
- Once again we were named one of the ‘Top Performing’ medical groups in California but also named ‘Most Improved’.
