Getting Started with Hill Physicians
Congratulations, you’ve made a smart decision!
You chose an HMO plan and selected Hill Physicians Medical Group.
Here's how you can get the most from your healthcare relationship.

Step 2: Be ready for your visit.
Take a few minutes to get ready for your first appointment. It's a good idea to know what you want to discuss with your physician, to be familiar with your own medical history and medications, and to take notes during your conversation to help remember what to do afterwards.

Step 3: Get regular screenings.
Routine screenings can help spot health problems early so they are more easily addressed. Your physician will work with you on an individualized screening schedule based on your age, medical conditions and screening history. You may get screening reminders from your doctor or from the Member Health Improvement team at Hill Physicians to help you stay on schedule. If you’re wondering how often, in general, you can expect routine screenings, view Preventive Guidelines for Your Health.
Step 4: Know your after-hours options.
Visiting your primary care physician is the best way to obtain non-emergency care during normal hours. Your physician also may provide you with an after-hours contact number. However, if you need immediate attention and your physician's office is not available, you'll want to know the location of nearby urgent care resources within the network.
Locate Urgent Care facilities close to your home or office for rapid access.
