Preparing for Retirement
Whether you are 65 or 25 it’s never too soon to plan and prepare for healthcare after retirement.

As you approach retirement age there are some steps that we encourage members to take to aid in the transition of their healthcare.
Educate yourself on Medicare and Social Security.
Are you 64? In nine months you'll want to apply for Medicare at your local Social Security Administration office. You can apply as early as three months before your 65th birthday.
Do you already receive Social Security benefits? In that case you will automatically be enrolled in Medicare. You should receive a kit from Social Security with your Medicare card and more information a few months before your 65th birthday.
