Leadership Structure

Hill Physicians’ success is built on a strong, stable partnership between our Physician Leadership and Management Organization.

Our all-physician Board of Directors comprises 12 practicing physicians who are elected to the Board by our shareholders. Our Board members and other physician leaders also serve on the nine committees of the board and provide important leadership and guidance on finance, membership, quality, continuing medical education, information technology and peer review issues.

Across our regions, more than 100 other physicians serve in local leadership roles, ensuring stability and consistency in the way we deliver and administer care. Our medical directors and chiefs of service are practicing physicians who are responsible for community-based physician panels comprising all of our network physicians. These physician panels – organized by specialty – meet regularly to review clinical performance.

PriMed Consulting Services is the management services organization that supports Hill Physicians. Organized in 1984, PriMed plays a key role in Hill Physicians' success by providing the technology infrastructure, claims processing, customer service, and case management and authorization reviews that allow physicians to do what they do best: practice medicine.
