Hill EHR Clinical Capabilities
In-Office Diagnostic Instrument Integration
Hill EHR can integrate with EKG, blood pressure and spirometry equipment in your office to automatically record test results to the patient chart. There’s no opportunity for transcription errors, and the information becomes immediately accessible for future reference. And Hill’s eSolutions team continues to add additional diagnostic interfaces. These on-going enhancements are provided at no cost to Hill EHR practices.
Lab Results Fed into Patient Records
Lab results from outside companies such as Quest, Lab Corp, HCCL, CHW, Muir Lab and Summit can automatically import into your Hill EHR system for more comprehensive patient charts and easy on-going reference. This is especially useful for patients with chronic or multiple conditions where you need benchmark references and trending.
Hospital Radiology, Cardiology and Transcriptions Are Integrated
Radiology results from RAS, Muir and CHW hospitals are at your fingertips, automatically imported into the patient record. Hospital generated reports from CHW and Muir hospitals are integrated with Hill EHR as well. These data feeds from in-office, lab and hospital sources create a 360 degree view of the patient’s medical information, in an immediately retrievable, easily usable format.
Hill EHR Practice Management Capabilities
Scheduling Patients and Resources is Easier
The scheduling function in Hill EHR is highly customizable. You control the templates to adjust for each physician’s in-office schedule and the varying lengths of time needed for different types of appointments. The scheduler also ensures that testing equipment is not double-booked, or underutilized.
Nothing Drops Through the Cracks with Tasking
It can be difficult to keep up with everything in a busy practice. The tasking feature keeps up with shifting appointments, lab results, recalls, billing, and claim denials and pends and organizes them into an easy-to-follow "to do" list that can be assigned to different personnel for completion.
Be Confident in Your Coding
Information from the patient’s health record automatically builds the ICD9 coding and generates the billing amount. By taking the ‘interpretation’ factor out of coding, your practice is able to bill for the work performed. Your billing is immediately supportable based on the content of the health record. And, the ICD9 code libraries are constantly updated so the claims you submit always are compliant with the latest guidelines.
Billing Takes Less Time
Processing billing and working your AR is easier than ever with Hill EHR. Your claims can be sent through Hill’s eClaims function for fully documented, paperless processing. The system checks to ensure that claims are paid per the terms of your contract, and your funds are deposited directly into your bank account. Timely filing denied claims are eliminated since claims are processed quickly and any pended claims are immediately noted.
The Dashboard Tells Practice Health At A Glance
With one glance you get a real-time overview of key measurement of your practice’s health. Data includes number of appointment scheduled for the day, number of appointments kept thus far, equipment utilization rates, upcoming patient alerts, billing and AR statistics, and urgent tasks that need to be completed.
We Support Demographic Data Conversion, Testing & Hands-on Training
The Hill EHR implementation team smoothes the transition by converting your existing demographic data, testing interfaces, helping with workflow decisions, and training and supporting physicians and practice staff. Our experience implementing Hill EHR in a wide variety of clinical settings means we can get your practice up and running in a smooth transition. We provide significant hands-on training to all staff members at no additional cost.
Cost: Less Than Many Other Systems
Hill EHR is affordable. There is a low up-front cost for equipment, and then a reasonable all-inclusive monthly cost for data lines, support and service per physician. We’re confident this program will be cost-effective for your practice. If you have concerns about cost, call 925-327-6510 or submit the Inquiry Form.
