Hill Physicians doctors are reopening their practices with your safety in mind. Here are some changes you may experience at your next appointment as our practices implement safety measures to keep patients safe when they come into the office:
Appointment scheduling
Suspending walk-in appointments.
Shifting appointment hours to allow for separation of sick patients and well visits.
Limiting number of appointments to minimize overlap and number of patients at the practice at one time.
Offering telehealth appointments, as appropriate.
Pre-screening all patients by phone for COVID-19 symptoms.
Physical distancing
Changing the office design to allow for minimal contact between patients.
Designating rooms for sick patients and well visits.
Minimizing use of waiting rooms - patients are taken directly to exam rooms.
Completing check-in and check-out procedures in the exam room or electronically.
Cleaning and disinfecting
Regularly cleaning and disinfecting all high-touch surfaces, anything people commonly touch such as door handles, armchairs, counters, etc., using CDC-recommended cleaning supplies.
Removing unnecessary items such as magazines, toys, coffee or other articles that may be handled by patients.
Face masks
Please note: physicians and staff will continue to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) based on CDC guidelines for the patients they are caring for.
Symptom screening
Increased visitor restrictions
