Shika Pappoe, MD

Dr. Shika Pappoe was appointed Chief Medical Officer in March of 2023. Dr. Pappoe will oversee the medical leadership across the entire network and is responsible for the Departments of Care Management, Population Health, Virtual Pharmacy, and Quality Services. She is passionate about achieving the quadruple aim, improving population health, the healthcare experience, per capita cost and addressing the needs of the healthcare provider. Dr. Pappoe worked in a variety of healthcare settings including the Royal Nephrology Medical Group and the Keck School of Medicine. She recently served as Director of Nephrology and Kidney Disease Prevention at CareMore, a leader in value-based care. She completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at Yale University, her internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and earned a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard University and a business degree from Wharton’s executive MBA program.
