Careen Whitley, MD

​Careen Whitley, M.D., is Board-certified in Family Medicine and has been a primary care provider since 1984 and with Hill Physicians since 1997, in Oakland. She is currently the medical director and a board member of Hill Health (HH). Her leadership at HH has contributed to the turn-around and improvement in performance clinically and financially. She serves on several committees for Hill Physicians and significantly contributed to the implementation of HillChart. She led the Epic Advisory Group through the development of the contents of HillChart successfully. She is currently the Interim Chair of the Provider IT Committee is PCP Chief for the East Bay region. She received her degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Ohio. Careen’s health-care career included serving as medical director of Berkeley Women’s Health Care and as Board Examiner.
